How a visit goes

  1. 1

    Open the map

It opens on the rep at street level and follows them down the road. Streets or satellite, their choice.

  2. 2

    Tap the house

Every home in view has a dot. A tap brings up the address, whether it has been quoted, and the roof's size and pitch once it is measured.

  3. 3

    Answer three questions

Stories, layers to tear off, and pitch. Leave pitch on Auto to price what the satellite measured, or make the call yourself.

  4. 4

    Show the estimate

Good, better and best, each with its price range and what it includes, worked out from the same price book as your website widget.

  5. 5

    Send it before you leave

Email it, or text the homeowner a link from your own phone. The link opens their estimate online.

What is in it

Built for a rep with a phone or an iPad

  • A map, not a form

Search for an address or tap the house in front of you. Homes you have quoted turn green, so a rep can see the street at a glance.

  • A one-page PDF estimate

Open any estimate as a PDF and share it from the phone: text, email or AirDrop. It prints the rep's name and mobile number as who to call.

  • Photos of the house

Take photos from the estimate. The cover photo goes on the PDF in place of the satellite picture, and the rest print on a second page.

  • A day's work in one list

History shows a rep their own quotes by day, with totals for quoted, sent and pipeline. Drafts and sent estimates are marked apart.

  • A lead like any other

Sending an estimate to a homeowner makes it a lead, in the same place your website leads arrive.

  • Nobody home? Mail it

From a saved estimate, a rep can send it as a printed letter with a QR code.

Good to know

What it is, and what it is not yet

  • The website quote widget is available first. The field tool comes next for companies on the early-access list.
  • It is a web app, not an app store download. A rep adds it to the home screen of a phone or an iPad from the browser.
  • It needs a signal. Without one the app says it is offline; it does not work from saved data.
  • It does not track a rep's route or log doors knocked in the background.
